Parkfields Stable has been beautifully converted into a light, airy and warm 2 bedroom cottage.  Architect and interior designed it has been thoughtfully decorated to reflect the peace and tranquility of the countryside, which is constantly on view thanks to the many large windows.

Downstairs is a sitting room which looks out onto the garden and fields at the back. Double patio doors open onto a paved area and the back garden – great if you want to eat outside.

The kitchen and dining area is at the front of the cottage and has views to rolling countryside. There is a table with seating for 4 and large windows to 2 sides.  The light here is gorgeous especially in the morning sun. The kitchen is compact and comes with everything you need to either heat up a quick meal or put on a full spread. There are enough glasses, crockery, cutlery for 12 so you don’t have to wash up or run the dishwasher after every meal.

Holidays should come with rest and plenty of sleep so the 2 bedrooms have really comfortable beds and bedding. The front bedroom has a large window with a wonderful view, a superking bed, a TV with DVD player and built in cupboards. There is ample hanging and storage space and an en suite WC and hand basin.  The bedroom at the back looks out over the garden and fields beyond and has twin beds, built in cupboards and a dressing table. The bedroom at the front is accessed via the back bedroom.  Lots of guests ask us which paint colours we have used – bold yet relaxing!

Downstairs a small hall area connects the kitchen/dining area to the sitting room and has storage for coats and shoes. There is a bathroom with a power shower, basin and WC. We provide plenty of good quality 100% cotton towels and bathmats.

There are gardens to the front and back of the cottage and plenty of private space for sitting out – outdoor furniture and BBQ provided. The site is on 3 acres altogether with space to play indoors and out, hard standing next to the cottage for parking and plenty of indoor storage for bikes and other outdoor equipment.
